CynthiaRutledge Beads By Designpresents Cynthia Rutledge 2010 December 8-12th Token of Love Bracelet  Token of Love Bracelet is inspired by the diamond bracelet designs being made by the leaders in fine jewelry at the turn of the 20th century. A central ornament consisting of an oval gemstone or CZ, surrounded by a series of smaller gemstones or CZs, set and arranged in the pave´ style. Extending from the central beaded ornament are Peyote stitch extensions that terminate in beaded, gem or CZ set end-stone pivots. One pivot leads to another as the bracelet works its way around the wrist to end with a toggle and loop closure. Date: December 8th (Wednesday) Cost: $75 This is a one day class. To register call (770)425-3909. or stop by the store. The Key to My Heart ©2009 by Cynthia Rutledge  The Key To My Heart is very personal. It has an intimacy about it because you can pick it up, hold it close and view in secrecy. The images have fabric in the background, to denote intimacy and familiarity. Nicholas Hilliard used that technique a lot in his work. The viewer felt privileged to be invited into such a private place. The locket opens to reveal two images, Doc Mark & Lady Cynthia Rutledge, circa 1757. Many lockets would have had a key. Mine is symbolic, the key is positioned on the necklace over my heart.
